Physiotherapist
I am a bilingual Registered Physiotherapist. I grew up in Ottawa, Ontario in an active family where i was exposed at a young age to the benefits of living a healthy and happy lifestyle. I engaged in various recreational sports and creative activities with a focus and passion for dance. I pursued a Master of Science in Physical Therapy at Queen’s University, in Kingston Ontario. since then, I have enjoyed engaging in further education where I completed Level 1 certification under the Orthopedic division of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association, Women's pelvic floor course: The physical therapy approach to anyone experiencing Urinary Incontinence, Intramuscular stimulation (IMS) training, TMJ training, and other training/mentorship related to neurological conditions. I have gained experience working with patients of all ages and in various settings. These opportunities have further confirmed my love for working one-on-one with clients and found a strong interest in patients with neurological conditions and taking a teamwork approach with their supporting team (family, friends, healthcare team). This is one of the reasons that I have landed at Holistic Neuro Physiotherapy. Grounded in client-centered goals, I use education, hands-on techniques, exercise-programs, and other evidence-based treatments to take a collaborative and active approach to rehabilitation. By enabling my patients with the tools and confidence to be active participants in their recovery, I believe in the importance of taking a holistic person-centered, considering both the mind and the body. In my spare time, I love spending time with friends and family, travelling, meeting new people, cooking and eating delicious food, finding news skills and challenges, and spending time by the water and in the mountains.
